REMEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!!
The days are hot. Special care needs to be taken with children in vehicles. Always remember to look in your back seat each time you exit your vehicle. If you get into this habit then you will never accidently leave your child in a hot car. It takes only a short time for an enclosed car to reach extreme temperatures. Always lock your car when you get out so a child cannot get in and get trapped. Get your kids out of the car first before you carried groceries or etc. into the house, and never leave them in the car alone for any reason.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a locked car sitting in the summer sun quickly turns into an oven. The temperature can go from 78 to 100 degrees in just 3 minutes.
Lark Center
Summer is here. Hot, hot, hot. The kids have kept cool this morning with Groups 1 and 2 having water play. They love the sprinklers and they are refreshed the rest of the morning. Group 3 went to the Aquatics Center for swim lessons. The school age children will be going to the pool this afternoon. Summer is a great time for kids.
